Born in Athens, GA, Christie grew up as the oldest of four siblings. Early on, she was designated as the family historian. This is because, ever since she was a child, Christie always had a camera in her hand. Upon graduating from high school Christie entered Athens Technical College where she majored in cosmetology. After she graduated, Christie went to apprentice with one of Georgia's most revered photographers. "I wanted to live outside the box and try a little bit of everything", Christie recalls. Christie's irreverence quickly gained her notoriety as her unique style was breathtaking, and easily recognizable as hers.

Christie has always chosen to remain an independent photographer. Her studio is designed to accommodate and endeavor. "I love creating vibrant imagery for a wedding, but I also like spending time with a family, creating a memorable portrait. I really have no preference. Every shoot is a unique challenge, with unique possibilities."

Christie's studio is located in Marietta, GA but is available for location photography across Georgia and throughout the Southeast. Her wedding style consists of  candid photo journalistic style and traditional group portraiture to capture every aspect of your special day.

Although Christie is highly in demand, she is always open to new projects. No job is too big or too small.
